Weekend!

After Mark's ice-hockey match and Ciara's dance class, we headed to Ingarö where we spent the afternoon with the Kjellqvist family. We lit a huge bonfire and grilled sausages. Mark, especially, worked hard at piling on the wood, even sawing down trees. A fun day!

To top the day off, I took the bus straight to Slussen (stinking of smoke!) to meet up with my friend Nonnis. We had dinner at Koh Phangan in Södermalm - good food and lots of blinking and colourful lights! Above, their drink of the day! (Unfortunately it looked more interesting than it tasted).

On Sunday we went for a drive to Värmdö. Visited a nice shop at Strömma canal where I bought some great cusions for the new house (will show you later) and then drove on to Stavsnäs where we stopped for a hotdog.

Plenty of ferries to take to new island destinations next Summer!

On the way back I, Ciara and Mark stopped to pick some mushrooms in the forest next to where we live.

mmmm.....

And in the evening I took my first Swedish riding lesson, in Velamsund. We jumped! I had the teacher's former competition horse - he was lovely!! So that's what I'll be doing on Sundays at six from now on...
