This boy had a temperature yesterday and  therefore had to stay home from school today. Instead he did some experimenting with his own schience lab equipment.

You probably knew that the colours on this thing look different when  it is spinning. But did you know that the camera still captures the spinning pattern as it looks while standing still. Fascinating!

Forest walk

After spending all morning indoors because Kate  had a slight temperature, I just had to get out for a walk by the time the other two got home...

The awaiting mushrooms (not this kind) in the forest acted as bate.

Off we went

Ciara was asleep by the time we reached the forest so I left her in the pram while we went looking for chantarelles. No such luck. Soon I was lost with no idea where I had left Ciara. Luckily Mark found the way back in the end. Ciara still sound asleep.

A Sunday on the town

New house, again!

No slacking here - bought ourselves a house today! We can move in on December 1st, so there will be plenty of time to get everything ready for Christmas, whohoooo!

FINALLY, not one bath tub, but two!!!
